You should avoid close working and keep 2 metres apart as much as possible. Close working is permitted only when no other options are available and the task is risk assessed with control measures are introduced in accordance with Public Health England advice. Where access ways are restricted in width you should wait for the access to be clear or where unaviodable you should ensure passing other people is kept to a minimum and do not speak to others when passing.
You should stay at home and not come to site if you have a high temperature (37.8 Deg C or greater), or have a new persistent cough. You will be checked upon attending the site and asked to leave if you are showing these symptoms.
Wherever possible workers are travel to site alone using their own transport. Where this is not possible specific control measures must be in place.
All people attending a site will be expected to either wash or sanitise their hands upon entering and leaving the site. the 2m Social Distancing rule must be followed and non-essential visitors will not be permitted to enter the site.
All operators must regularly clean common contact surfaces in their plant and vehicle steering wheels and controls, door handles.
You must regularly wash your hands through the course of the day following the advice given by Public Health England.
You must wash you hand before and after use of the toilet facilities and maintain the 2m Social Distancing rule at all times.
We have canteen facilities for people to use whilst on site and you must maintain the 2m Social Distancing rule, comply with staggered break times and any other arrangements in place, tidy up and clean down after use, and wash your hands when entering and leaving the facility. All people on site are to only eat in designated areas and not visit local shops at break times.
All contractors working on our sites must ensure they provide adequate supervision to manage their own safe system of work and comply with Government and Industry guidance.
Digital technology is to be used to assist with complying with Social Distancing rules. Meetings will be held using digital conferencing platforms and inspection and general record keeping should be issued electronically.

It is our utmost priority to keep people safe whilst working on and visiting our sites during this unprecedented time and to ensure the recently released Government and Industry Guidance is met, we have thoroughly reviewed and developed our procedures to address issues presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We understand that our supply chain has many questions in how to comply with the requirements laid out in Government and Industry Guidance so we have identified the key points to address and follow when working on our sites. This newsletter is an executive summary of our procedures which will be applied to each of our projects and detailed information will be shared with our supply chain when planning work on any of our schemes.

We are continually monitoring Government and Industry guidance and developing our procedures accordingly. We will keep you up to date on any changes that me may implent in the future.
